Food & Nutrition Program

Murray County Senior Center offers a lunch program Monday through Friday. The program consists of a congregate meal prepared on-site and served in our 100+ capacity dining room. There is a charge of $2 per person, and call-ahead reservations must be made by 10:30 am the same day. The meal is served at 11:30 am.

Carry out plates are available for $3.00 and ready for pick-up by 11:00 am. You must call ahead to order carry-outs by 10:00 am. whether you are dining in or carrying out. At this time, we cannot deliver meals. Weekly menus are available for pick-up at the center.

Meals On Wheels

Meals on Wheels is a federal and state funded program administered by the Aging Nutrition Center for homebound elders who have difficulty with meal preparation. Please contact us for more information: North Georgia Community Action Agency

Food Stamps

Food stamps may be used at grocery stores to purchase food. Income eligibility restrictions apply. Call Murray County Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS) for qualification information and an application:
