Welcome to the Murray County Magistrate Court website. Magistrate Court is often called the "People's Court" because it helps regular citizens represent themselves, without an attorney. Magistrate Court may often be quicker, more affordable, and efficient in cases involving $15,000.00 or less. We are pleased to provide information on this website as a service to our citizens as a general guide. The information provided is not intended to be used as legal advice. 

The Council of Magistrate Court Judges is comprised of all the Magistrate Judges in the state of Georgia. These judges have worked to make your experience as easy as possible while using the services of this court. These services include VIDEO TUTORIALS as well as a program that guides you through questions to create free, CUSTOMIZED FORMS that you can take to the Magistrate Court.  This website also offers access to the convenience of e-filing through the  E-FILE GEORGIA website.
